As Children of God, are you following man or the wisdom of the Holy Spirit?

 God did not leave us orphans, He provided all we need to complete our walk with Him and to walk in His wisdom.


The children of Israel while in the wilderness had a cloud by day and a fire by night over the tabernacle to give them the presence of God and direction.

Numbers 9:15-17

Now on the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the Testimony; from evening until morning it was above the tabernacle like the appearance of fire.

So it was always: the cloud covered by day, and the appearance of fire by night.

Whenever the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle, after that the children of Israel would journey;  and in the place where the cloud settled, there the children of Israel would pitch their tents.

The children of Israel had to wait on God to see where they would go next.  They could not be impulsive and allow their emotions to lead them.

They had to learn to wait.  The provision they would need would be supplied if they would wait on the Lord.

Numbers 9:22

Whether it was two days, a month or a year that the cloud remained above the tabernacle, the children of Israel would remain encamped and not journey; but when it was taken up they would journey.


Beloved, would we be so patient in our life, to wait for the moving of the Holy Spirit?  He wants to take us where we can be used and bear fruit for the kingdom of God.

Sometimes it is hard to wait for the Spirit to move in our lives and we run ahead of God, only to get into trouble.

John 3:8

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. SO IS EVERYONE WHO IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT.

We have heard in church to bloom where we are planted.  

This is true, but eventually the blooms will fade and fall off and it is time to move on where the Lord leads. 

It could be a promotion where you are at or it could be a new place to be more effective for God's kingdom.

We are the tabernacle of the Lord, His temple.

Following the move of the Holy Spirit will bring growth and deeper understanding in the things of God.

Sometimes that move is to just be in the arms of Jesus for a season and receive a refreshing touch from God.  

Sometimes it is to be at a place that God has planned in order for us to be more effective for His kingdom.

In order to meet certain people that God wants in your life.

My kingdom must go, so His kingdom can come.

Beloved, never let your emotions rule you and make decisions.  Be ruled by the Holy Spirit and He will lead you to the place of wisdom for your life.

Remember wisdom is seeing things as God sees them.

Proverbs 3:17-18  (Speaking of Wisdom)

Her ways are ways of pleasantness, And all her paths are peace.

She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, and happy are all who retain her.


Beloved, be like the children of Israel.  Wait for the cloud to move or the fire to be revealed.  

Interesting, that on the day of Pentecost in the upper room, there were tongues as of fire.  Think on this.

The Holy Spirit has always been in the cloud and fire.  To guide, protect and fill us to over flowing with the life of God.

Spend quality time in God's word and know that the Holy Spirit is the author.  He wants to speak to you.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
