Character matters

Godly character will promote you to places you could never dream.

Character: is the sum of the qualities of a person.  It is good temperament, with moral character.  It's an engrave image. It is a mark of a distinguish quality.

Your gifts may take you to the top, but only a Godly character will keep you there.

1 Corinthians 12:1

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant:

I love the fact that Paul places the love chapter of 1 Corinthians 13, sandwiched in between the gifts of the Spirit.

We are to have the character of Jesus. Love is to be the motivator.

Remember the flesh is all about self making himself look good to others, look how mature and spiritual I am! 

It's not revealing the love of God and giving the glory to God.

Romans 8:5

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

We all need believers in Jesus that we can share our deepest thoughts and concerns with.  

Someone who can be trusted to pray with you and keep what you shared to themselves and the Lord.

Beloved, we do have  that someone in the Holy Spirit, but we all need a human while here on earth as well.


The Holy Spirit will lead you to someone who is of a Godly character and can be trusted.

It is the work of the Holy Spirit to develop the character of Jesus in us. 


Beloved, character in you does matter, people are watching and listening to us to see if we are the real deal. Do we follow Jesus, do we love people.

Yes, character matters.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
