DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE BEING STRETCHED A LITTLE MORE IN YOUR FAITH?
As long as there is breath in our body we will grow in our faith in the Lord and run the race set before us.
We will still be able to pray for someone else and be like Jesus on this earth.
Like with exercise, we can feel the pull in our body, so we also can feel the pull in our spirit to be transformed in the image of Christ our Lord.
We started out like a worm, then we were placed in the Holy Spirit cocoon, and the change began to take place. Little by little, with a lot of activity.
Our flesh gets tired and says enough! but our spirit says, no keep going, Jesus is with you, Jesus is in you, Jesus is working through you.
Hebrews 12:1
Therefore we also since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside ever weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
Beloved, we are in this race unto the finish.
It is tiring at times, and that is a signal to rest and prepare our heart and mind, feeding on the word of God to give us the strength we will need for the race.
Spend time in prayer with the Father and be strengthened, in the inner man.
This race will take much discipline on our part.
1 Corinthians 9:26-27
Therefore I run thus, not with uncertainty . Thus I fight; not as one who beats the air; but I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I myself should become disqualified.
1 Peter 2:16
holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.
Beloved, let those spiritual muscles be stretched, feel the pain and praise the Lord you have feeling and can go a little further.
The finish line is nearer than you think it is, for some it could be tomorrow, for others it could be a week or month or year.
Be ready, for you do not know the day the Lord will come for you. Listen to the Holy Spirit and do all He says to do.
Since it is Palm Sunday, coming up, put green leaves on your door, He came to them riding on a donkey, They shouted,
John 12:12-14
"Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!
The King of Israel"!
Beloved, we cannot meet together to celebrate our Lord right now, but we can honor Him by running our race in spite of our circumstances, because of the virus.
To honor Jesus Christ our Lord is to continue running our race of faith, loving our neighbor as ourselves.
Being Jesus' hands and feet and mouth on this earth.
God bless your day
Jesus loves you
Love in Jesus
Joy
