Salvation is free by grace, becoming a disciple will cost you everything.

Praise God for our Salvation,  but remember those that chose to follow Jesus, gave up everything.

 The disciples had provision along the way, people that provided what was needed to help the disciples spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 They were learning to say no to the flesh and yes to the Spirit. 
It starts with our Salvation, then we learn to allow Jesus to be Lord. Our Master, and Guide, our God in all we do.

 Matthew 10:38-39
He who does not take up his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.  He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.

 Think about what it means to lose your life for the sake of Jesus.

 All those personal plans and dreams, were to die, and a life in Christ was to begin.

 The Holy Spirit teaching and training us to be more like Jesus. 
A far better plan and prosperous one than we could have ever dreamed. 

 Prosperous in our soul, our will, will become God's will, our mind will be renewed in the word of God, so that we begin to think like God.

 We do have the mind of Christ, we just have to allow the Holy Spirit to train us to hear from Him in what God wants from us, like our fellowship, love, obedience. Loving our fellow man.

 Beloved, remember Salvation is just the beginning, discipleship is our training process.

 3 John 1:2
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

 Notice that our soul must proper first, that being, our mind, our will and our emotions, then everything else in our life will prosper.

 Living for Jesus, giving all we have for His kingdom, is such a blessing, knowing that God is in control of all we say and do, even think, that is if we have released those things to God.

 God will replace, sorrow and grief, with His laughter and joy, peace as we follow Him.

 Our mind is renewed daily in God's word.
We can never change yesterday, we can only move forward and seek those things that are before us.

 Be a disciple, not just a believer, one receiving discipline from the Lord in order to be all we can be.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
