Are you fruitful, or are you barren? We should all be fruitful, never barren when Jesus lives in us.
God says in His word, that He has given us His divine power, for everything that pertains to our life and godliness, for those in Christ Jesus.
2 Peter 1:2-8
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises,
that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Think about that statement beloved, You can be partakers of God's divine nature.
With the divine nature of God in us and available to us, we should never be barren, we should always be fruitful.
Beloved, God has given to us all we will ever need, it is up to us to tap into that divine power and nature, use it to bear fruit.
There are many varieties of fruit, just as there are gifts of of the Holy Spirit.
Anything you do to bring comfort, teaching, healing, the love of God to another, it will bear much fruit.
When we obey the Holy Spirit and call someone to pray with them, it will bear much fruit.
When we send a card to just let someone know we are thinking of them, it will bear fruit.
Not only in their life, but yours as well. Whereas, when we obey the Holy Spirit, blessings will follow.
We already have the blessings of the Lord, through Jesus Christ, we must learn how to receive those blessings.
Think about how awesome it is to tap into God's power and not your own ideas that we have learned from living in this world.
God's power will always bear fruit.
Some times it may be a call to someone, or text, or a pat on the shoulder, that says I care for you. Showing God's love and care, will always bear fruit.
Jesus said, He is the vine we are the branches, branches that will bear the fruit as long as we are connected to the vine.
John 15:5
"I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, bears much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing.
