When we are around too much noise, we won't hear the voice of God.

We live in a world that is full of all kinds of noise.

 It is amazing to me, how we can adjust our hearing and get so use to all the noise, that we go on our merry way not realizing that the noise is shutting out the voice of God.

 Yet God tells us that we need quietness in our life in order to hear His voice. 

 Turn off everything you can and spend quiet time with the Lord.  You will be greatly blessed at what you hear from the voice of the Lord.

 God is not going to compete with your TV, or your computer or face-book, He wants your undivided attention.

 Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God;  I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

 We can hear the voice of the Lord as we read His word, we can also hear His voice in quiet times of focusing on Him, praising Him and in prayer.

 Recently, I had a problem that seemed difficult, I asked the Holy Spirit what should I do, the answer came into my spirit immediately, I followed through with great results. Praise God.

 Don't allow busyness to occupy all your time, we have invited Jesus to live in us, yet He is rarely consulted in our day. 
He is thrilled when we include Him.

 Getting quiet and resting in the fact that God is with you, and that He loves you, will restore any area in your life that needs restoration, or building up.

 Beloved, do not allow noise to invade your ears, find a quiet place and talk to your heavenly Father.

 The early church could grow and mature because they did not have all the noise that we do in our time. 

 They had each other to listen to, to visit and encourage and pray for one another.

 They showed great love for each other, they were true disciples, willing to die for what they believe.

 Beloved, be quiet and your body and mind will love you for it. Rest in the Lord.

 We need a time of rest, alone with Jesus.
Listening to the Holy Spirit impart great truths to our spirit, so that we can live the abundant life Jesus said we can have in Him.

 Sometimes we are like a car running out of gas, we need to be filled up again, and our gas station is in the presence of the Lord.

JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us. God's word is a light unto our path.  Psalms 119:104-105 Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
