When God is leading us, there will be no confusion.

Allow only the Holy Spirit to lead you, because when God does the leading there will be no confusion, only a clear cut knowledge of what we are to do.

 People can encourage you to look to Jesus, but they are not to control you and tell you what to do, unless it comes from God's word, as part of their encouragement for you.

 I love Psalm 23.
It tells us that the Lord does the leading.

 The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want. (my provider)
He makes me lie down in green pastures. (Takes me to the place for rich nourishment)  For Christians that is His word in the bible.

 He leads me beside still waters. (Still waters are like a mirror, we can see our reflection, but we can also see the reflection of Jesus with us)

 He restores my soul. (healing takes place at the still waters, my mind, emotions, and will are healed and set back in the right place)

 He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name sake. (To be in right standing with the Lord, we must know what it means to be righteous in the site of God, this occurs when we receive Jesus as Savior and Lord)

 Yea though I walk through the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. (Please note that we walk through, we are not stay there, it was just a shadow to place fear in us)

 For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. ( The Shepherd carries with Him, a rod and staff. The rod is to beat the wolves away from His sheep, and the staff has a crook on top in order to retrieve a sheep that has fallen down a cliff. He can easily lift it up) He is our protector, our rescuer.

 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; 
(We have the table of the Lord, we call it Holy Communion) Remembering what Jesus paid for us.

 You anoint my head with oil, 
(Oil keeps the flies off the sheep, in other words, The Holy Anointing oil from the Holy Spirit, will keep the bothersome demons off of us)
Anointing our head with oil is saying we are separated unto the Lord. 
My cup runs over. 
( We will always have enough as we follow the Shepherd)

 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

 Remember it is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance. We have God's mercy in our life because of Jesus sacrifice for us.

 Beloved, let the Lord do the leading, don't run ahead of Him and end up falling. 
Yes He will pick you up, but better to just allow Him to lead.
Shepherds lead, the sheep follow.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us.
