The importance of our words, they carry life, or death.
What's in our heart, will come out in our words.
You have heard the old saying, make your words sweet, you may have to eat them.
This is true.
Proverbs 16:21-24
The wise in heart will be called prudent. And sweetness of the lips increase learning.
Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it. But the correction of fools is folly.
The heart of the wise teaches his mouth, and adds learning to his lips.
Pleasant words are like honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.
Reflect on this for a moment. With the Holy Spirit behind our words, there will be healing, a settled peace and life for the sweetness of the soul. (Mind, will and emotions)
Our good words are health to our bones. (Think about that next time you feel you have to spout off)
Every time we spout off to someone, we are taking life and strength from our bones.
Proverbs 15:1-4
A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, But the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.
The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.
A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.
Proverbs 22:11
He who loves purity of heart and has grace on his lips, the king will be his friend.
Beloved, our words carry great power, once said you cannot retrieve them, so use wisdom in what you say, speak life, and faith and hope to those who are around you.
Proverbs 15:23
A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, a word spoken in due season, how good it is!
Beloved, think before you speak, especially if you are angry or upset.
Words are powerful, all the words God has spoken to us in His word, are health to all our flesh, they carry life when they are from the Lord.
