God has given us His peace, Why are we unsettled?

The Hebrew word for peace is: Shalom, this means, completeness, wholeness, fulfilled, security and well being.

When Jesus said, "I give you My peace, the above, is what He was saying to the people.

Colossians 3: 14-15
But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts.  To which also you were called in one body.

It is your choice to let the peace of God rule.
To guide, to direct, to control.

1Peter 3:11
Let him turn away from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it.

Romans 14:19
Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.

Isaiah 26:3
You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You. Because he trusts in You.

When your mind is on the Lord, then it cannot be on other things. We find peace in Him, not in the world.

Psalm 119:165
Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble.

When we love the word of God, and believe it is all for us for today, we will have great peace.

Psalm 37:37
Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace.

There is no reason to argue, and murmur, and be upset with anything or anyone, because we have God's peace to draw on.

Do not allow fleshly thoughts to steal the peace that you have, your body will react with anxiousness, when it does not sense the peace that God has already provided, in His word, and in His presence.

Beloved, we all have times when we move in the flesh instead in the Spirit, but make the effort to use the blessing of peace in your life.

We are told to seek peace (1Peter 3:11) and are told to Let peace rule, we are to promote peace (Proverbs 12:20)

Psalm 29:11
The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.

Romans 15:13
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, live in the peace that the Lord has given unto us, we will be a lot healthier, and content in this life , and in our walk in Jesus.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
