God will complete whatever He has started in us.

Funny how we tend to think we have to fix ourselves, we do have to cooperate with the Holy Spirit, but God does the lasting work.

Philippians 1:3-6
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for all of you with joy., for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

It is the Lord working in us, He knows we are but flesh and need Him to complete us in everyway to reflect His love and nature.

Jesus, through the Holy Spirit has begun the work in us, He said He will complete it. 

So don't be so hard on yourself when you fail, get up and keep going forward in the Lord.
He is working  in us,  as long as we will yield our will to His, we will continue to progress.

Make it easy on yourself, remember it is the Holy Spirit's job to bring you to completion.

Spiritually speaking, we are already complete in Christ, but while we live on this earth in this earth suit, God will be working in us and through us.

Ephesians 2: 4-10
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
and raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God, not of works less anyone should boast.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.


He is working on our nature. Making our nature to be like His nature.  More loving, merciful and kind, understanding, patient, forgiving.

Aren't you glad it is not your responsibility to do the work on yourself.  If you do try, you will fail, because it is not your place to do the work, that's religion,(working our way to God) It is God who works in us, because He loves us and came to us.

Our responsibility, is to keep our mind filled with God's word, and speak those things that are edifying, and to trust God as He does the work in us.

Learn to rest while the Holy Spirit does the work, He is gentle and careful with us, we are from the royal house of God. We do have special privileges as Kings kids.

Rest in Jesus, the work in you is being done daily. Your part is to trust, and have faith.

JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us.
