Qualities of a sound Christian life.

How we live is evidence of the presence of Jesus in our lives. Our action and reactions speak louder than words.

Titus 1:15-16
To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.
They profess to know God, but in their works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

There are so many that say they are Christians, but does their life measure up to God's word? Is the law of kindness on their tongue?

Do they spend time getting to know the word of God. Not just in a bible study, but in their personal time.
That is the place the Holy Spirit really speaks to us. Alone with the word.

Titus 2:1-8
But as for you, speak the things which are proper and sound doctrine; that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in the faith, in love, in patience,
the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things- that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste , homemakers, good obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.

Likewise , exhort the young men to be sober minded, in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent, may be ashamed having nothing evil to say about you.

Beloved, if the world saw this in the Christians of today, they would run to us to receive the Lord.
But there has been too much compromise to please people. Adding onto the word of God, to making people believe all is ok, when in fact, the wolf is at the very door.

Never, ever compromise, you will kill your witness of being a disciple of Jesus.
If you do compromise to please people, you will be very uncomfortable in your spirit.

We are to speak the truth in love, firm but kind, and allow the Holy Spirit to do His great work in their hearts.

This message gives us a great picture of how we are to be in the world, let people see Jesus in you. Let them see the qualities of a firm and sound believer and disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God. Just speaking His name, we inhale YAH and exhale WEH.   YHWH means breath of life. Our Jewish brothers and sisters know the name of God means breath of God. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD!!  YOU ARE NOT TO COMMAND HIM,  YOU ARE TO ASK HIM, HONOR HIM, AND RESPECT HIM AND HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.  I have heard some believers young in their faith and understanding, say that they have prayed for such a thing and God will give it to them.
