The fear of the Lord, is to honor, respect and obey Him, and to be in awe of Him.

We see in the scriptures, we are to fear the Lord, we are not to be in terror of Him, but we are to respect and honor and , be in awe of Him and praise Him.

Honoring God is a conscience decision we make. Do we live in a way that honors the Lord?

Are we living in a way that demonstrates our faith and trust in our all powerful God?
The only way to honor God, is to honor His Son, Jesus Christ.

We honor God when we obey His word and living out our life to the fullest, as He intended us to.

John 5:20-23
"For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.
For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to whom He will.  For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son,
that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father, he who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

You see beloved, when we honor Jesus we are also honoring our heavenly Father.

Our lifestyle, if godly, honors the Lord.

To honor the Lord is to have high regard for Him. Respect His word and obey His word.

We don't honor the Lord out of duty, we honor the Lord because we love and respect Him as our almighty creator. Our Savior and king.

When we honor and respect each other we are honoring the Lord, as He said to love one another, love will show honor.

1Corinthians 12:20-23
And now indeed there are many members, yet one body.  And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you" nor again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you"
No, much rather, those members of the body which seem weaker are necessary.
And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor;

Think about who you can honor today. Someone who needs to know you respect and honor them as a person. Be Jesus to them today, show them honor and respect.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God. SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
