Jesus told us to win souls, not arguments.

We do not have to prove anything to anyone, that is the work of the Holy Spirit.
So many of us believe we must prove our point about the Lord and His word.
This only pushes people away from the Lord.

People respond to your caring about them and showing them love.

We are to make disciples not decisions. Decisions are a start, but then comes the training, the discipline. Standing with them through hell and high water.

New babes in Christ Jesus, need a lot of understanding and care, patience and a lot of love.

We were told to preach the good news that Jesus died for them, we do not have to prove to them that they must believe. That is their choice.

That is the work of the Holy Spirit to draw them to Jesus, The Jesus of the bible.  The Son of God who came to take away the sin of the world. The Jesus that left heaven and came to this earth as a baby, to grow up in human flesh, He was born of a virgin.

Discussion is an exchange of knowledge, arguments are an exchange of ignorance.

Having to prove you are right (pride) and the other is wrong, will not win them to Jesus, Your loving them will draw them.

1Corinthians 2: 4-5
And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of  the power of God.

1Corinthians 2:12-14
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
But the natural man (unsaved) does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Beloved, no one comes to Jesus except that the Spirit draws him or her.
You can pray that the Spirit will draw them to Jesus, but you cannot convince them with your words, you will only push them away from the one who loves them and desires that they come to Him.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God. Just speaking His name, we inhale YAH and exhale WEH.   YHWH means breath of life. Our Jewish brothers and sisters know the name of God means breath of God. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
