As Christians we should be responsible and consistent in our walk with the Lord.
The world is watching us daily to see if we are the real deal. Are we responsible and consistent in our walk with the Lord.
Nahum 1:7
The Lord is good A stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who trust in Him.
When we mess up, do we take the responsibility for it, or do we make excuses, saying, we did this because this or that happened to me. Excuses are only dressed up lies.
No, beloved, when we mess up, admit it, and do not try to cover it up, Jesus is our mediator and He will mediate for us like a lawyer, if we are honest about our mess, confess and forsake it.
Proverbs 28:13
He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.
God already knows everything, but wants us to realize we need to confess one to another and get rid of the guilt, then the enemy cannot use it against us.
James 5:16
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Knowing that you are loved will help you make the righteous decisions.
As you follow what the word of God says to us, we will not only be healed, but we will be obeying the word of God and taking our responsibility and putting it into action.
Jesus paid it all, it is our responsibility to appropriate it into our life, the way He told us to. Confess and forsake.
We must be consistent in how we present ourselves, we are to just be ourselves and don't try to put on airs.
Be you in Jesus, because we are being transformed little by little.
None of us are perfect, but praise God we are being perfected daily, if we feed on His word.
Consistent is: to hold the same principles and practices. Hold fast to the truth of God's word. Be consistent. Walk in the truth of Gods word.
As the days get closer to the Lords return, we will see many fall into the trap of compromise to appease those around them. That is not being consistent.
Ask the Holy Spirit to keep you strong, make you responsible and consistent to reveal Jesus to this world living in darkness.
If they see you compromise, they will believe what you have is not real. They won't have hears to hear the truth of Jesus.
We are all unique, even identical twins will have different finger prints, so just be yourself, and don't be concerned how you appear to your fellow believers, you represent Jesus and you will see fruit for the kingdom in your life, your fellow believers will want to follow your actions.
We are to only care what God thinks about us, and that is He loves us and will be with us until the end, He wants to see us be like Jesus.
