Are you hungry for God, or are you full of yourself?

In the natural, when we are hungry there is a gnawing feeling in our stomach.  The same is true in our human spirit that has been born again. 

There is a gnawing for God and for the food only God can provide from His life giving word.

Matthew 5:6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

John 6:35
And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life.  He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

Proverbs 4:20-23
My son, give attention to my words;  Incline your ear to my sayings, Do not let them depart from your eyes; 
Keep them in the midst of your heart;  For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.

Beloved, stay hungry for the things of God and for the word of God.
Our hunger is filled up with Jesus.
He is our Spiritual food, when we take communion, we remember His words,
Luke 22:17-20
Then He took the cup and gave thanks, and said, "Take this and divide it among yourselves;  For I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."  And then He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, :This is my body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me." Likewise He took the cup after supper, saying, "this is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.

Beloved, I cannot see anywhere where Jesus says, this represents my body and blood. 

He said emphatically, This is My body!

When we hunger for Jesus and want those special times with Him, take communion,
I do daily.
It is a precious time with the Lord.  It is not a ritual that we have to do, it is fellowship with Jesus. Partaking of Him. Notice, that He took the cup first, then the bread.

We know that after He was resurrected from the dead, that He did eat and drink, so He His kingdom came after the resurrection. The devil is defeated!! Jesus kingdom is here, now.
There is so much more to come when Jesus returns to the earth, meantime He expects His children to walk in His kingdom world, on this earth.

He has equipped us with all we need, to live in victory today, through the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, think on these things, ponder them in your heart, stay with the word of God no matter what you hear new or someone's new idea about God.  The word of God is our measuring stick. Settled in heaven forever. Stay hungry for fellowship with the Lord.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
