Forgiving is setting a captive free, could it be you?

If we have a unforgiving heart, we will keep ourselves in bondage. It most likely will not effect the one you have not forgiven, but it will eat you up inside and cause you to become sick.

When we pray for those that hurt us, we are beginning to get the picture of being free from the bondage, it is the way God softens our heart.  Prayer!

Each time we pray for others that are causing an unrest in our spirit, we are setting ourselves, free.
In turn, you are releasing them in the spirit realm where the enemy has had a hold.

The enemy sets up circumstances to trap us, do not fall into his trap.

You cannot forgive in the natural, it will take you asking the Holy Spirit to help you forgive.

Matthew 18:21-22
Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? up to seven times?"
Jesus said to him, " I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. Endless.

Hebrews 12:12-15
Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather healed.  Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord, looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;

Beloved, when you hold unforgivness in your heart, it will not only effect you, it will effect all those around you. It is a deadly poison.

The more you forgive, which is God's very nature, the easier it will become for you.
Soon you will learn to not hold anything negative about a person in your spirit.

Your mind, that is being controlled by the Holy Spirit will show you, and help you to let go!  That's why it is so important to renew your mind daily in the word of God.

The sooner you let go, the sooner you will return to peace, and joy, and see things from God's point of view.

Keep forgiving no matter what or who hurts you. unkind words are arrows that the enemy is using.  Keep you shield of faith up so that those words will bounce off of you.

I have to remind myself, that I am dead in Christ, dead people do not react to unkind words or actions.

Galatians 2:20
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Beloved, hold nothing in your heart that will cause you unrest, forgive quickly and rejoice that the enemy has not won, the armor of God is in place and Jesus is Lord!

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us.
