Are you feeling like some friends and loved ones have deserted you?
Don't trust your feelings on this issue. People get busy and side tracked with other things in their life, they may have not deserted you after all.
Just as the Lord is working things in our life, He is also working things in your friends and loved ones life.
Never allow the enemy to fill your mind full of negative thoughts and drag you into self-pity. That will do you no good at all. Look to Jesus!
Psalm 27:10
When my father and mother forsake me, then the Lord will take care of me.
Look to the Lord when you feel that you have been deserted or forsaken.
When we are hurting, that is when we run to the Lord undone, with no where to turn.
Jesus is always waiting for us with open arms. He understands how we feel.
When He was on the earth He was rejected, forsaken, and deserted by the ones that He loved the most, including His family. His brothers rejected Him, until Jesus was resurrected from the dead.
In these times in our life, God is teaching us to cast all our care on Him.
We all go through those times when we feel so all alone.
When these times come into your life, know that the Lord is there with you and He knows how you are feeling. We believers are never alone, God is right here with us and in us.
Psalm 9:9-10
The Lord will be a refuge for the oppressed. A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.
Others may forget about us for a season, but the Lord will never desert us, He is there with us. He knows our pain of separation, of our feeling of being left out, but He will heal our heart.
Jesus knows we are human, as He lived in a Human body, He has experienced all that we have, all the human emotions.
Beloved, when you feel deserted by friends and loved ones, and I have experienced this myself, Look to Jesus, He is the author and finisher of our Faith.
Never trust your feelings, sometimes people are just busy with their life.
Go do something nice for someone and be about your heavenly Fathers business.
Forgive and move on. Do not hold an offence, it will only hurt you.
Focus on the Lord, He will lead you to new friends and a family in Jesus.
Some people come into our life for a season, others for a reason. Accept whatever comes into your life as from the hand of God. Even the evil that comes, is an opportunity for the power of God in you to rise up and take authority over it.
Jesus is Lord, and He knows where to lead us in order to transform us into His image.
Circumstances pass through our life at times to reveal where our true focus is. Are we depending too much on people and not the Lord?
Have we made idols of people in our life, so God had to close the door to them and you, because It was not good for your spiritual health.
There are many reason for being deserted by others, sometimes it is just God rearranging your life in Him.
Psalm 11:4
The Lord is in His holy temple, The Lord's throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.
1Peter 1:6-7
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Beloved, when it seems you have been deserted and forsaken, remember God is always there with you. Could it be that He is allowing this to show You, not to depend on other people, but put all our full dependency on Jesus?
God bless your day
