As Christians, we have a high calling, to be all Jesus intends us to be.
If God has called you to be all you can be in Jesus, He will lead you into a life of crucifixion and humility.
Our flesh must be crucified daily, sometime hourly, or even minute by minute.
God will put on you, demands of obedience, that some other Christians will not have to follow.
If you are called to do the work of the ministry, you are held by a higher standard, then than those who just attend church.
When you are living the crucified life, God will allow others to do things that He will not allow you to do.
Other Christians that seem to be religious, will scheme to push their agenda that will make them look good.
God will not allow you to do that!
Others are allowed to brag on themselves, on their success. Others may be allowed to make great deals of money, but God wants to supply you daily with His benefits.
God wants us to have something far better than material things, He wants us to have a total dependence on Him.
The Lord may allow others to be honored, and put forward, but He may keep you in the background, helping others.
He may let others get the credit for things you have done, so that God can produce some choice fruit in your life.
Isaiah 57:15
For thus says the High and Lofty One, Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place. With him who has a contrite and humble spirit.
To revive the spirit of the humble. And to revive the heart of he contrite ones.
The Holy Spirit will have a strict watch over you with a jealous love, and He will rebuke you for little words and feelings, for wasting your time, of which other Christians have no problem with.
Others can say and do many things that you are not allowed to say and do.
Settle it in your heart, are you going to live the crucified life for Jesus, or are you looking for all the comforts and things that this world has to offer?
We are to have the abundant life, experiencing His love, joy and peace, and the things we need, but the abundant life spiritually, walking above all the rhetoric that we hear, looking for what the Holy Spirit is saying to our heart.
God will not explain to you things that trouble your mind, you must learn to trust Jesus and the work of the Holy Spirit in your life. Walk in faith. If you understood everything you would not need faith.
Jesus has wrapped you up in His love and given you His power, the power that raised Him from the dead.
The power that caused 600 soldiers to fall backwards in the garden when Jesus was arrested, before going to the beatings and the cross.
Settle it forever, that you are to deal directly with the Holy Spirit.
1Corinthians 2:9-10
But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes the deep things of God.
Beloved, enjoy the beautiful demands of living for Jesus, going all the way, sometimes it will be painful, but most of the time joyful, because you are walking with the Lord.
Learning from the Holy Spirit what is important to the Lord and how we can accomplish all He has called us to do.
I give my day to Jesus and whatever occurs, I accept, knowing He will work it all for my good.
Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
