God's Pathway May not Be the shortest, but it is the best.
As God's children we will all go down His pathway in life, places we are to stop off, and be refreshed, and places that we will need to stay alert and watchful for our adversaries.
Psalm 16:11
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Psalm 25:4-7
Show me Your ways O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all day.
Remember O Lord Your tender mercies and Your loving kindnesses. For they are of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to Your mercy remember me, for Your goodness sake O Lord.
This Psalm says, "show me, teach me, and lead me.
In order for the Holy Spirit to show us, we must be attentive. For The Holy Spirit to teach us, we must be willing and submissive. For Him to lead us, we must be willing to follow His lead.
Leaving all the past behind, and looking forward to the future.
Sometimes there are pitfalls along the way that will cause us to stumble, but God's loving hand is there to keep us from falling.
Beloved, always remember God loves you and as He trains you to be like Jesus, merciful, loving ,and compassionate, you will find yourself in places you never dreamed you would be at.
In situation you would prefer to have avoided, yet there you are, learning to love the unlovable according to the worlds standards. According to Jesus all are lovable.
So listen for the direction of the Holy Spirit, come out of your comfort zone, and allow a place where God can put you into new situations, places to bring glory to the Lord Jesus.
Remember the woman at the well? Jesus went out of His way to another pathway, to reach her. Be willing and obedient to the voice of the Lord.
God Bless your day
