  Some believers think that God places temptation in their lives to show them what is in their heart. This is not true, according to scripture. James 1:12-15 Blessed is the man who endures temptation;  for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord which the Lord has promised to those that love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted,  "I am tempted by God", for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.  Then when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin;  and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.   There is so much to consider in God's word having to do with what we inherit in Jesus our Lord. We can know the mystery of God's will. We have Divine favor, Grace, healing, wisdom, revelation knowledge and understanding, the eyes of our understanding being opened. Angels are surrounding us. Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will,  according to His good pleasure which He purchased in Himself, Ephesians 1:15-18. When the church has been asleep or just at ease, life is still going on.  The church is a living body. Look around you and see how fast things are changing in this world we live in. Psalm 7:9-10 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end.  But establish the just; For the righteous God tests their hearts and minds.  My defense is of God,  who saves the upright in heart. I see in God's word that in order for there to be spiritual growth, we must keep our eyes and heart on Jesus and feed on His word. This will provide spiritual change in our life for that to occur, you must have your mind on Jesus and His love for you. The answer is found in the bible.  The prayer Jesus prayed to His Father. John   17:3 "And this is eternal life, that they may know You,  the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. To know God is to be intimately  acquainted with Him.  To know and understand, to perceive and recognize who He is. Beloved, He created all that you can see, and gave man the wisdom to build on His creation. We can experience Eternal life right now if we have received Jesus as Lord. Yes, we have Eternal life and will live in heaven, however we already have Eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. He reveals to us all that the Father has revealed to Him.
