 It will take faith and patience to see some of the promises being fulfilled.  Some come sooner as we grow and learn God's will. 2Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. Beloved, God's perfect will is in His word. Just remember its not your will, but Gods. I have learned some of this through the years, past experience is a great teacher. Our being impatient only prolongs the process. I have claimed promises of God for 30 years, and I have learned in His time we will receive those promises. I not only received the promise, but, great blessings followed. Hebrews 10:36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God , you may receive the promise. So be patient and don't complain or murmur. Remember Israel in the desert 40 years? Just learn to be patient and thankful.   God is making all things new, for the New Year. When we say we want to do differently, we are saying, we will handle our own life. Ephesians 4:20-24 But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus;  that you put off concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. We need to ask God for extra strength for things we have not let go of yet from last year. New Year, new strength, new growth.   Everyday of our Christian life is all about Jesus.  He came suffered and died for all of us. He took our sins and gave us new life. The worlds Christmas is different than the saved believers Christmas. Our Christmas is all about our Lord and Savior coming in the flesh, to live among us. He experienced every temptation that we are tempted with. Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have  high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. We have a selfish nature, but, Jesus was not selfish.  He gave so much of Himself,  to those who had a need, or were hurting and needing redemptive love. Sinners! As a lamb born for sacrifice, like all other lambs. Lambs are gentle and meek.  They don't have fangs or claws.   THE TREE Did you know that the evergreen tree speaks of new life? Life for us is that Jesus was crucified on a tree. John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life.   We see that entertainment has taken the place of true worship. Beloved, there are those that do not obey God's word, because they think that grace covers them. They believe that they can do whatever they desire, because they are under God's grace.  This is not true. Obedience to God's word with the Grace of God, will produce great results.  Grace and obedience are  team. Romans 5:17 For if  by the man's offence death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in this, life through the the One, Jesus Christ. When you live by the grace of God you will obey His word and walk in holiness.
