When we choose the worlds way of doing things and ignoring Him. Yes, we can. He is a Spirit and we have unmerited favor with Him. Galatians 1:9-12 As we have said before, so now I say again. Beloved, sometimes we allow things to enter our life, that we need to use our spiritual authority and our weapons on to get free to do the works of the Lord. John 14:12-13 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that My Father may be glorified in the Son. When we are attacked,  We must start using the authority and the weapons that we have in the Lord. The enemy will try and trespass in our life if we become complacent, lazy, and neglect our faith. There are times when we are self satisfied and not on our guard, we become slothful. Pride can be behind those attitudes. 1Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking who he may devour, Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world...

Our preparation process seems like God is quiet, and not answering our prayers.  God allows us to go through times of emptying us out of everything that hinders our growth and progress. Gen 37-1-25 Read the whole story. Joseph told his brothers his dreams and caused  great jealousy with them. Was he bragging? or was he sharing? As you can see by reading the story, it was all set in God's plan.   It looked bad, but God knew what He would do in Josephs life. How about your life since you have received Jesus?   We all get excited to see new babes born into God's kingdom.  They are coming in by the millions all over the world. Praise God!! We pray that they will be taught the Bible, be discipled and shown the love of God. They cannot know the fullness of God without reading His word and getting to know Jesus. There is a new Christianity being formed. One without repentance, or accountability, to other believers, full of self, and not dying daily to self. It's full of entertainment, flashing colored lights, all about SELF, ( SERVING EMOTIONS AND LOVING FAVOR) just like the world. Matthew 18:3-4 And He said " Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. "Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven."   There are many different kinds of works of the Lord in God's word. But there is one main one that leads to all the others. John 6:27-29 "Do not labor for food that perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him." Then they said to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?" Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent" You see Beloved, the greatest works is to believe in Jesus. Our trust and faith in Jesus will activate our faith for all the other works.
