HOW IMPORTANT IS OBEDIENCE, WHEN WE ARE LIVING UNDER THE GRACE OF GOD?

Beloved, there are those that do not obey God's word, because they think that grace covers them. They believe that they can do whatever they desire, because they are under God's grace.  This is not true. Obedience to God's word with the Grace of God, will produce great results.  Grace and obedience are  team. Romans 5:17 For if  by the man's offence death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in this, life through the the One, Jesus Christ. When you live by the grace of God you will obey His word and walk in holiness. Reminding ourselves that we are the righteousness of God, because of the shed blood of Jesus. 1Peter 1:13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. We purify our souls when we obey the truth through the Holy Spirit. To love the brethren with a pure heart. 1Peter ...

BEING THANKFUL FROM OUR HEART, TO GOD AND FOR OTHERS.

Are we thankful for all the good God has given to us through Jesus? Ephesians 5:20,  Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1Thessalonians 5:18 in everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Are we thankful for the breath that we breathe? Did you know every breath that we take says God's name according to our brothers in Israel? Yahweh. I found that very interesting. Are we thankful for all our family that God has placed us in? Beloved, did you realize that thanks to God comes before praise? Psalm 100:4-5 (Think on this) We enter His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name. (We use to sing this in church) For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting. His truth endures to all generations. Are we thankful for those people, saved and unsaved that God has placed in our life? Some for a reason and some for a season? We grow because of t...

GOD'S PEACE DOES NOT DEPEND ON YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES.

Beloved, God's peace only depends on your relationship with Jesus. John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you: not as the world gives do I give to you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you will have peace.  In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." Our peace will depend on what we fill our mind with. Is it God's word? Fellowship with the Holy Spirit? Fill your mind up with God's word and praise to Him. Get quiet and let the Holy Spirit speak to you. Open your heart up to the Spirit of God, and follow His direction in the way you are to go.   When you do God's will, you will have great peace.  Because you are partnering with the Holy Spirit to do the will of God in your life, His will is in His word! It tells us that Jesus is our peace and that peace lives inside of us. When correction and discipline is needed,...

BEFORE TIME BEGAN, GOD HAD GIVEN US PURPOSE AND GRACE IN CHRIST.

The gospel carries life and immortality. 2Timothy 1:8-9 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me. His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who saved us and called  us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to is own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began. Beloved, the good news of Jesus Christ carries far more than we realize. Paul said, "preach the gospel in season and out of season." What should this tell us? That no matter the season preach the good news in Gods word. It alone carries the power of God to change a life. Some people ask what is the gospel?  It is the good news that Jesus Christ took all our sins and paid the full price for them on the cross. It provided forgiveness, for everlasting life and healing of our soul. No more guilt and shame for the past. All things become new. Know the great Kingdom of God that you ente...

ENJOY THE SEASON, A CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE IS COMING.

As the leaves fall from the trees, they will provide nourishment for the new growth in the Spring. Nothing is wasted in God's kingdom. Matthew 14:19-21 Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples gave to the multitudes. So all ate and were filled, and they took up twelves baskets full of the fragments that remained. Jesus made it clear after feeding the multitudes,  waste nothing, collect what is left. Beloved, don't waste what you have learned in this past season of your life.  For you will add to the good things learned from God's word. And you will grow in the Lord. Each season has great lessons to learn. There are times of great happiness, and times of great sorrow and we adjust to each season with the help of the Holy Spirit. Each season has great lessons for us to learn. Ecclesiastes 3:2 To everything the...

IT'S TIME FOR PRUNING SEASON, A TIME TO CUT AWAY THE OLD AND MAKE ROOM FOR THE NEW.

The whole earth is getting ready to rest. To have old things that hindered our growth, removed and to make room for the new growth. In the Spring it will be evident what has transpired. John 15:1-5 I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine dresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away, and every branch that bears fruit He prunes,  that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you.  As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches.  He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing. The pruning process will lead us to greater growth in the fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-24 But the  fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, against such there is no l...

LEARNNG TO BE MORE PATIENT IN ALL WE DO AND EXPERIENCE.

We sometimes think we have learned being patient., until another trial comes along where patience is needed. James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete lacking nothing. I certainly have seen this in my life.  Learning to walk again, takes real patience especially if you have pain. I am walking now, and learning a lot of patience. Praying through the pain and learning to be patient in all I do. Never in a hurry. Beloved, invite the Lord's presence in all you do. The Greek word for patience: Longsuffering, forbearance, and endurance. Colossians 1:11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and long suffering with joy. We may think we are a patient believer, but when tested with our patience, we realize that we have much to learn. Because of God's great love for us, we can ...
