LEARNNG TO BE MORE PATIENT IN ALL WE DO AND EXPERIENCE.

We sometimes think we have learned being patient., until another trial comes along where patience is needed. James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete lacking nothing. I certainly have seen this in my life.  Learning to walk again, takes real patience especially if you have pain. I am walking now, and learning a lot of patience. Praying through the pain and learning to be patient in all I do. Never in a hurry. Beloved, invite the Lord's presence in all you do. The Greek word for patience: Longsuffering, forbearance, and endurance. Colossians 1:11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and long suffering with joy. We may think we are a patient believer, but when tested with our patience, we realize that we have much to learn. Because of God's great love for us, we can ...

LOVE IS ALWAYS WILLING TO STOOP DOWN TO HELP ANOTHER UP.

In John 8:6, a women is thrown down at Jesus feet. Jesus bends down where the woman is at. He begins to write on the stones at the temple. Only God had written on stones.  The reality of who Jesus is, caused the religious leaders to leave. I find it interesting that Jesus told Nicodemus, a very religious man, that he must be born again. The man humbled himself and came to Jesus. As believers we are born again of God's Spirit. 1Peter 1:22-23 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, Beloved, love is always willing to stoop down to help another up. Humility is a sign that we are born again of God's Spirit. A humble person will always point to Jesus, never themselves. 1 Peter 5:5-6 Likewise you younger people, submit to your elders, Yes, all of yo...

WHAT IS AN IDOL IN TODAYS WORLD, AND IN A BELIEVERS LIFE?

An idol is a person or thing that is greatly loved and admired   or revered. In our Christian world, an idol is anything that replaces or competes with Jesus in our thoughts or our affections or our worship. Idolatry is giving worship or reverence or our devotion to anything other than the one true God! Beloved, anything that replaces our time with the Lord, will rob us of the best God has for us. Matthew 6:31-32 Therefore do not worry, saying, 'what shall we eat?' or what shall we drink?' or what shall we wear? For all these things the Gentiles seek.  For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these. "But seek you first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added to you. God will provide all our needs. Idolatry is anything or one you spend your most time with. Wherever we go we see people with their phones, either talking or checking something on them.  That phone can be an idol to them.  If they misplace it, they panic, "where is it" It can...

THERE IS A GODLY FEAR THAT WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND.

The fear that I am talking about, is for us to be in AWE of the God we have given our life to. Psalm 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Since it is the beginning, that means it is on going.  Teaching us every step of the way. Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Matthew 10:27-28 (Jesus speaking) "Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.   But fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. The Greek word for fear is terror, and dread, but the next one is for us believers.  Reverence and Awe. The Hebrew word for fear is just reverence and respect. Beloved, God is not a glorified butler,  that we think we can command Him to do things, He is Almighty God!! Creator of the universes. I have heard prideful people say, "its...

OUR FORGIVENESS CAN BE CONNECTED TO OUR HEALING.

Some believers are not aware that some of our healing is connected to our forgiving ourselves or others. When we hold unforgiveness in our heart it will effect our whole immune system. Jesus has left us with a great example of this in His word from the gospels. Mark 2:5 (read the whole message to verse 12.) When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son your sins are forgiven you." Verse 11, "I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house." When we allow the enemy of our soul, be it the devil or our own self, to keep reminding us of our past, that is an insult to the sacrifice of Jesus.  Jesus paid for all sins. Past, present and future. So cast down those thoughts from the past. Besides, in Jesus we have no past, just new life. Apply the blood of Jesus to every negative thought from your past, and those thoughts will vanish. See yourself new, filled with the life of Jesus. When we are tired or too busy for God's word, that is when thos...

GOD'S WORD SAYS HIS WAYS ARE PAST FINDING OUT, RIGHT?

If all of God's ways are past finding out, only for those that God wants to reveal some of them to, will see a glimpse of them. Yet He revealed some of them to Noah and Moses and Paul. God's ways include a view of His character, plans, and His method of doing certain things. Romans 11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! Its' not just what He does, it is who He is. His justice, mercy and compassion. God is so multifaceted, we can never know all His ways. Exodus 33:12-14. Then Moses said to the Lord, "See, You say to me, bring up this people, but You have not let me know whom you will send with me. Yet you have said, I know your name, and you have also found grace in My sight. Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way,  that I may know You and that I may find grace in your sight.  And consider that this nation is Your people." A...
